Banzai Skimboard Surfer Takes the Slip n Slide to the Next Level

Growing up on the streets, the closest thing I had to a Slip n Slide was an open fire hydrant, a hill, and a garbage bag. But I used to see the commercial on TV and it looked like crazy fun. The Banzai Skimboard Surfer takes it up a notch, allowing you to surf in your own backyard.

You hook a hose up the Skimboard Surfer, it fills up with water and water flows along the sides and fills the bumpers. You step into the 30″ wood skimboard and take off down the water lane. The skimboarding surface is 26 feet long by 6 feet wide, so it’s not quite as large as the beach, but certainly long enough to get some good surf action going on your lawn. Perfect for the summer.

Little Tikes Crashing Waves Water Park Looks Awesome

I used to have one of those 4 foot diameter blow up kiddie pools but it was nothing like this. The Little Tikes Crashing Waves Water Park is a massive inflatable water slide and playground that probably rivals some real water parks. If you want to make your kid the most popular kid in the whole neighborhood, this is the summertime backyard accessory to buy. How fun does this look?

The Crashing Waves Water Park has a big lighthouse which is reached by climbing a bouncing rock wall. From there they can blast their buddies with the mounted spray cannon before sliding down the curved splash pool slide. The kids can hide out in the tunnel under the lighthouse to avoid getting splashed. The Water Park comes with a heavy-duty blower for continuous airflow, stakes, storage bag, and a repair patch kit. The Little Tikes Crashing Waves Water Park is a great way to get your kids out of the house, off the couch, and cooled off this summer all in your own backyard.

Slip N’ Slide Human Bowling with the Banzai Slip ‘N Six Pins

Your kids can become human bowling balls with the Banzai Slip ‘N Six Pins. It’s a 16 foot long water slide with a 3 foot long inflatable tunnel. After you slide through the tunnel you come upon the water-filled splash bumper pool and the 6 silly inflatable bowling pins:
Slide over and over again until you knock them all down, or cannonball down the slip ‘n slide and go for a splashing strike. The bowling adds a fun dimension to a standard water slide and it’s pretty reasonably priced (and got pretty good reviews too!). The repeat play factor on this is definitely higher than a regular slip ‘n slide (you definitely don’t want to set up a water slide in your backyard only to have your kids come back inside within 10 minutes with “I’m bored”). This one looks like a winner.

Death Star BBQ Grill

And now ladies and gentlemen, the geekiest barbecue grill ever created- the Death Star Grill. It’s a custom created grill, sculpted out of a standard Weber charcoal grill. The Force is strong in this one. The force of coal based backyard cooking that is. Come to the dark (meat) side. You can actually take this thing home as it’s up for sale on the ‘bay!

Golf Bag Drink Dispenser

Looking for an easy way to stay cool on the golf course this summer? The Golf Bag Drink Dispenser will take care of all your hydration needs. Cleverly disguised as a golf club, this drink dispenser fits right into your golf bag. It makes it easy to sneak your beer legal non-alcoholic drinks past golf course security. The insulated 48 oz. reservoir can hold either hot or cold beverages. It has a wide mouth for ice cubes and easy cleaning. Drinking and driving is not cool but drinking while driving golf balls certainly is.

Camping Cooler Bag with Built in Prep Table

Camping is one of the great outdoor summer activities that you wait all year to do and then either have the best time or are completely miserable. Either way, your memories of camping are great and you do it all over again next year. Getting out of the daily grind and into nature away from all the hustle and bustle definitely has it’s appeal. But you can’t go camping without some solid gear. And a man’s gotta eat. And drink.

When you’re out in the wild, you’ve got to prepare and season your food on the spot. Usually you’ll end up doing it on top of a flat cooler, a dirty picnic table, a car trunk or (gasp) on the ground! Well the Kelty Pop Duo changes all that by giving you a slide out prep table right in your cooler bag. The two halves of the waterproof cooler slide out to give you a windproof prep table, perfect for cutting limes, making sandwiches, or pouring beverages into cups. The Kelty Pop Duo even has extra zipper stash pockets and in it’s main compartments can hold up to twenty 12 ounce cans. Great camping essential.

Banzai Roaring Rapids Water Park is Insanely Awesome

Inflatable water slides are one of this year’s hottest summer items for kids backyard fun. The Banzai Roaring Rapids Water Park is one of the largest blow up water slides you can buy today. It’s actually 3 slides in one. You kids climb to the top of Roaring Rapids and then make their down via the curved slide or they can race a friend on the dual lane slides. All three water slides take you to the activity lagoon, where there’s a hoop to play with and a climbing wall to make your way back up to the slides again.

The entire water park inflates in under 3 minutes thanks to the continuous airflow blower and heavy duty Dura-Tech construction ensures strength and durability all summer long. Despite the Roaring Rapids Water Park’s large size, Banzai makes it so it folds up small for storage and includes stability stakes, carrying bag, water hose, and a repair kit just in case. Looks like super fun!

Banzai Titan Blast Rocket Toy Launches 100 Feet in the Air

The Banzai Titan Blast Rocket is a seven foot tall (that’s right- SEVEN feet!) inflatable launching rocket toy. Sometimes packaging can make things look larger but it really is that tall:
The rocket can launch up to 100 feet in the air. You inflate the rocket, fill the base up with water and then pump the base until the air pressure is great enough for launch. Then liftoff!! Apparently it’s a little tricky to get the launch mechanism set up just exactly right but once it’s goes skyward, it’s very impressive. Check out this review with a video of it launching to see just how far it can go. Wowsers! You definitely need a big field for this thing! Fun toy!

Solar Powered Robotic Pool Skimmer is a Green Way to Remove Greens from Your Ool

When you have an ool in your backyard (that’s right, we don’t swim in your toilet, so there’s no P in our pool), you’ve got to keep the surface clean or you’ll end up with leaves, grass, bugs, and other nasties in your hair and on your body. The Solar Powered Pool Skimmer lets you keep your swimming pool clean in an eco-friendly way. Not only that, this skimmer is smarter than a lot of people I know.

A pair of solar panels on the top of the skimmer collect the sun’s energy and store it in a rechargeable NiMH battery. The skimmer is propelled by two paddlewheels and has a quartet of wheels on the side panels so it can turn and roam along the pool’s walls. When the batteries start to get low, an internal microprocessor has the skimmer move about the pool until it can find a sunnier spot to collect more solar power before resuming the cleaning.

At night and when it’s cloudy, the skimmer slows down its speed to conserve energy while still cleaning the pool. If the skimmer gets clogged, it automatically switches to reverse to clear the clog. Inside the skimmer are two 3″ chlorine tablets that slowly dissolve in the water as the skimmer operates. The pool skimmer can operate for 8 hours on a full charge and measures 6 1/4″ H x 20″ W x 23″ L.

Now the Solar Powered Pool Skimmer is a bit expensive at $499 but if you want a skimmer that require almost no maintenance and is working constantly, this could be well worth it.

Fly-Goodbye Pistol Insect Killer

There’s nothing more annoying than flies inside your house or office. They’re virtually impossible to kill and when you do you usually end up with a splat mark on your wall or desk. Sure you could open the window and let them out but wouldn’t that just let more flies in? That’s a problem. Now eliminating flies is fun and effective with the Fly Goodbye gun.

The Fly Goodbye works on a simple vacuum principle with a dual piston system. Pump the tube and suck in the flies. You can use the included internal glue traps to kill the flies (or for scientific examination or whatever) or just keep them in the inescapable chamber and release them later. Whether you choose to release them outside or in a frenemy’s office is up to you.

The main thing is that it makes trapping flies fun again! Certainly more fun than hanging up a yellow glue strip and waiting. You can buy the Fly Goodbye for just $29.99 at ThinkGeek.
