Millennium Falcon Guitar Doesn’t Quite Rock the Cantina

The Millennium Falcon Guitar, while totally freakin’ beyond awesome in concept, won’t be rocking out on Mos Eisley anytime soon because it doesn’t have any strings. That said, this looks like a not too complex electric guitar mod that someone needs to create a working version of NOW. As for the Star Wars guitar pictured; there’s no real information on this other than a few photos of some other wacky guitars along with someone labeled as “the artist” but not identified by name. Please comment if you have more info!

Crochet R2D2 is Crochedorable

How adorable is this little crocheted R2D2? A tiny droid made of string. I know practically nothing about crocheting but this looks like it’s a high level of difficulty to make. The attention to detail and coloring of the yarn is pretty tight. What a cool Star Wars geek craft!

AT-AT Boombox Combines Two Great 80’s Things

The two best things to come out of the 80’s were Empire Strikes Back and boomboxes. That’s a fact. Ok maybe breakdancing. So to combine the AT-AT Walker and a boombox into one (unfortunately non-breakdancing) machine sends my 80’s meter into “totally boss” territory. Where’s the beef, this is awesome. I would have liked to have seen Lloyd Dobler hold this thing up in Say Anything.

Star Wars Darth Vader Roto Bank

If there’s anyone you can trust with your money it’s Darth Vader. The Dark Lord of the Sith didn’t get to be where he is today by spending all his money on gigantic moon-sized Imperial space station weapons that can be destroyed by launching proton torpedos down an exhaust shaft into the reactor core. No the dark one puts all his coins into a Darth Vader Bank, natch. Just think, nobody would dare steal your money from this 6″ piggy bank (apologies to Lord Vader, piggy bank is just an expression your Lordship) lest they face the wrath of Darth. And at just $11.99, it doesn’t cost a lot of coins to save a lot of coins.
