Vikura Soupmaker Chops Veggies and Heats It Up

Here’s an interesting gadget from Japan; it’s a soupmaker. You chop up your veggies and other soup ingredients into pieces and throw it into the soupmaker with some water or chicken stock. The soupmaker then purees your veggies into a smooth soup while at the same time heating it up. In 30 minutes you have a bowl of soup. Quick and easy. Basically it’s a blender/food processor combined with a crockpot. Costs 29,900 yen which is about $320. A small price to pay for convenience (and delicious soup) I guess. It’s unlikely this will make it over to the states, so if you’re not in Japan then NO SOUP FOR YOU.
